Tekion Internal Applications

Overview

At Tekion Corp, I worked on internal tools supporting the company’s dealership management platform, building both a real-time communication system and a payroll application.

Problem

Teams across departments needed reliable real-time communication, and the company needed an internal tool for processing employee payrolls that could keep pace with a fast-moving, agile B2B product org.

Approach

• Built Tekion’s communication app using WebSockets to enable real-time inter-department communication.
• Developed Tekion’s Payroll, a React-based application for processing employee payrolls.
• Worked within a monorepo-based ERP codebase, gaining experience in how SaaS products are built and shipped at a fast, agile pace.

Outcome

• Delivered a real-time communication tool used across departments.
• Shipped a payroll processing application built entirely in React.
• Built foundational experience in monorepo management and ERP-style product development.
