Paytm Consumer & B2B Platforms

Overview

At Paytm, I took ownership of frontend development across a range of consumer-facing and internal B2B products, spanning finance, government services, and customer operations.

Problem

Each product had different constraints — a trading-style interface for buying gold, a drag-and-drop form builder for backend-driven workflows, a mobile-first flow for linking government subsidies to bank accounts, and an agent-facing tool for remote identity verification — all needing to ship reliably at consumer scale.

Approach

• Built Paytm Digital Gold, a website for buying and selling virtual gold.
• Contributed to Paytm Fee, a website for submitting college fees.
• Developed Paytm Forms, a backend-driven progressive web form builder with drag-and-drop construction.
• Designed Direct Bank Transfer, a mobile website linking government subsidies to user bank accounts.
• Developed the Customer Care Panel and Video KYC, a website enabling agents to perform remote customer KYC.
• Took complete ownership of frontend development across these projects, establishing a scalable foundation using React.
• Worked on communication between the Android native application and WebView for hybrid flows.

Outcome

• Shipped and maintained multiple consumer- and agent-facing products at national scale.
• Established reusable frontend patterns (React, CSS-in-JS, Webpack) adopted across projects.
• Built experience bridging native Android and web (WebView) communication.
